Rae Russell
San Diego Financial Literacy Center Financial Coach
I am a single mom of two amazing children, Andrew and Andreah. I have also been a caregiver for my 94-year-old grandmother and my 68-year-old uncle. I began my financial services career in 1996 with Primerica while I was serving in the United States Navy. I earned my state insurance license and held Series 6 and 63 investment licenses for many years. I branded myself as "The Financial Coach" because I wanted to educate people how to play and win at the money game. Over the years, I have successfully educated and mentored thousands of families throughout California.
I am the founder of Financial Coach 4U and Global Financial Literacy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. I am a volunteer instructor for the San Diego Financial Literacy Center. I provide financial literacy education to churches, the military, and the general community. I also provide much-needed financial education to active-duty military members before they transition out of the military. I am the director of the Veteran Chamber of Commerce, San Diego Chapter, where we provide support and resources to veterans and their families. We are a chamber that focuses on collaborative efforts rather than just membership.
I am committed to teaching financial literacy to people of all ages, from youth to seniors. I am available for workshops, speaking engagements, mentoring, and one-on-one coaching.
